COVID -19 SAFETY GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES

WE ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ADVICE, RECOMMENDATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS OF PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS INCLUDING ANY ADVICE FROM THE MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH TO KEEP YOU SAFE. STRICT PROTOCOLS HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED IN OUR RESTAURANT OUTLINED BELOW:

We will continue to:

  • All guests will be screened for signs and symptoms of COVID-19, must provide contact information and have temperatures taken prior to entering.
  • Customers who exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 will be refused entry.
  • Any patron without a reservation is put on a waitlist, asked to leave the premises and contacted when their table is ready. There is no waiting at the front of the establishment unless filling out the Chief Medical Officer of Health questionnaire.
  • All guests and staff will be offered hand sanitizer and masks prior to entering.
  • Patrons must be seated at all times in any area of the establishment.
  • Menus are available on our website and via QR code. Single-use menus are also available.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the restaurant for guest and staff use.
  • Commonly-touched surfaces (such as door handles, banisters, computers, electronics, phones and other machines/devices), shared equipment and high-touch points that members of the public/staff are permitted to operate are cleaned and sanitized prior, throughout (every 30 minutes) and after service using approved hard-surface cleaning materials.
  • Ensure a maximum of 6 people will be seated at each table.
  • No more than 75 patrons in the establishment at a time.
  • The establishment will be taking extra measures so that guests seated are separated by;
    • a distance of at least six feet between tables,
    • a plexiglass between booths in the lounge,
    • a plexiglass at the bar between guests and staff
  • All guest table surfaces including seating, candles and QR code menu holders will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly between use.
  • Tables are no longer pre-set and utensils are now wrapped in linen and not exposed on the table.
  • All employees will be wearing protective masks and following strict hygiene protocol within the restaurant at all times.
  • There is no standing or congregating permitted throughout service, guests must be seated at all times except going to or returning from the washroom (in this case protective masks must be worn).
  • No person shall dance, sing or perform music at the establishment.
  • Washrooms will be cleaned and sanitized/disinfected throughout service. Security will be present at all times to ensure only 2 people at a time in the washrooms to ensure physical distancing.
  • Introducing more fresh air by opening doors and windows. 
  • No buffet-style service will be provided.
  • No liquor will be sold after 11pm and all patrons must leave premises by 12am.
  • In compliance with Toronto Public Health’s recommendations with the volume of music/noise being kept to a manageable level.
  • Security and Management will be present throughout service to enforce rules put in place.
  • Official COVID-19 posters and signage will be displayed around the establishment for staff and patron education and awareness.
  • Use of a third-party touch point and fogging disinfecting service that utilizes Vital Oxide Disinfectant (authorized by Health Canada & the Environmental Protection Agency for the use against SARS-CoV-2, the Coronavirus that causes COVID-19) 1 to 2 times weekly.
  • Screening all staff for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 prior to the beginning of each shift using the Toronto Public Health Screening Questionnaire as well as temperature checks, and providing the results of staff screening to Toronto Public Health immediately upon request.
  • All staff members have been advised not to report to work and to seek medical attention if they are feeling ill.
  • All staff, including management, will be trained on COVID-19 protocols and required to pass COVID-19 certificate training.
  • An improved screening process for the staff to improve early identification of symptoms. 

ANY GUEST EXHIBITING COVID-19 RELATED SYMPTOMS WILL BE ASKED TO REFRAIN FROM ENTERING THE BUILDING AND RETURN WHEN THEY ARE WELL.
